Ngô Đình Khôi was a Vietnamese politician and one of the younger brothers of the former South Vietnamese president Ngô Đình Diệm. He was born in 1936 and joined his brother's government in various positions, including the National Assembly, Secretary General of the Youth Party, and Deputy Director of the National Police.
During the Vietnam War, Khôi was a prominent supporter of American involvement and advocated for strong anti-communist policies. He also pushed for greater autonomy for South Vietnam and worked to bridge the gap between the government and the Buddhist community, which had been an important source of opposition to Diệm's regime.
However, Khôi's political career was cut short in 1964 when he was assassinated along with his brother Diệm during a coup by South Vietnamese generals. The brothers' deaths marked a turning point in the Vietnam War and led to increased American involvement in the conflict.
